Average Views
Average views is the mean view count across a channel's recent posts. It reflects how many subscribers actually open and read the content. Telagon calculates this from recent post data to give a current, accurate picture of actual reach.
Why it matters
Average views shows the real audience size — how many people actually consume the content. A channel with 200K subscribers but only 5K average views has a 2.5% read rate, meaning 97.5% of subscribers never see the posts. This is the denominator in ERR and the key metric for ad pricing.
How to use it
Divide average views by subscriber count to get the read rate. Healthy Telegram channels typically have 20-40% read rates. Below 10% suggests audience decay. Compare average views over time — declining averages signal content fatigue.
