About Telagon

Telegram analytics, built out of frustration

An open catalog and analytics for the Telegram ecosystem — AI quality scoring, audience health, and mention tracking across 1.4M+ channels.

How it started

Telagon wasn't supposed to be a product. It began as a fix for my own problem — I needed to promote one of my projects on Telegram.

So I went looking for channels to buy ads in — and I really disliked how that market works. The existing tools were all paid, and even after paying they still didn't show what I actually wanted to know: is the audience real, is the channel actually growing, and who genuinely mentions it?

So I decided to experiment and see how hard it would be to build this myself. It turned out to be a very solvable problem.

That experiment became Telagon. Today it tracks 1.4M+ channels and groups, scores their quality with AI, and keeps the data open instead of locked behind a paywall.

What Telagon does

01

AI quality scoring

Every channel gets an AI-evaluated quality score, so you can tell a real, engaged audience from inflated numbers.

02

Audience health

Subscriber dynamics, reach, and engagement over time — see whether a channel is genuinely growing or just looks big.

03

Mention tracking

See who actually mentions and advertises a channel across the network — real influence, not vanity metrics.

04

Open catalog

Browse 1.4M+ channels and groups by category, language, and quality. Free to explore, no paywall on the basics.

I'm a developer with 14+ years of engineering experience, and I built Telagon on my own. I still run it solo — I talk to users, ship based on real feedback, and fix things myself.
