Subscriber Growth

Subscriber growth tracks how fast a channel gains or loses subscribers over specific periods (day, week, month). Telagon shows both absolute numbers and percentage changes, along with sparkline charts visualizing the growth trajectory.

Why it matters

Growth rate reveals the momentum and health of a channel. Declining growth or subscriber loss often precedes content quality drops. Sudden growth spikes may indicate paid promotion campaigns. Consistent, positive growth suggests the channel is producing content people want to follow.

How to use it

Compare growth rates within the same niche and size bracket. A 10K-subscriber channel growing 5% per week is much healthier than a 500K channel growing 0.1%. Watch for negative growth — channels losing subscribers consistently may have content or quality issues.

Example

A finance channel with 45,000 subscribers gained +1,800 in the past week (4% growth). Looking at the monthly chart, growth has been accelerating from +500/week three months ago, suggesting growing topic interest.
