Ad Reach

Ad Reach measures the average number of views that sponsored or advertising posts receive within the first 24 hours. Telagon automatically detects ad posts and tracks their performance separately from organic content.

Why it matters

Ad reach often differs significantly from organic post reach. Some channels see lower ad reach (audience skips obvious ads), while others maintain similar levels (well-integrated native ads). This metric gives advertisers realistic expectations for their campaign impressions.

How to use it

Compare ad reach to average organic reach. If ad reach is less than 50% of organic reach, the audience may be ad-averse. Look at ad reach trends — declining numbers suggest growing ad fatigue in the audience.

Example

A channel's organic posts average 40,000 views, but ad posts average 28,000 views (70% of organic). This is a healthy ratio — the audience tolerates advertising well, and the 30% drop is typical.
